As a Asset Recovery Specialist, you’ll help determine recoverability, drive skip-trace efforts, coordinate 3rd-party repossessions, and monitor transportation so recovered vehicles reach the right destination on time.
Compensation: $16 per hour with bonus on recovered vehicles
What you’ll doReview written-off accounts and decide if collateral is recoverable, documenting rationale and next steps.
Perform skip tracing on charged-off accounts with a clear goal of recovery.
Open, service, and track 3rd-party repossession cases in our vendor application.
Coordinate with external partners for transportation and liquidation of vehicles.
Monitor the movement of recovered vehicles end-to-end and resolve exceptions quickly.
Follow company policies and procedures and support our mission, vision, values, and ethical standards.
Maintain reliable daily attendance to ensure timelines are met and cases move forward.
Take on additional duties as assigned by your manager.
What you’ll bringStrong attention to detail and documentation habits; you catch small errors before they become delays.
Clear, professional communication with vendors, internal partners, and leadership.
Comfort working in web-based systems (vendor portals, CRM/ATS/ERP) and Excel/Google Sheets.
Problem-solving mindset—able to triage issues and keep transportation on schedule.
Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Bonus (nice-to-have):
Experience with skip tracing, repossessions, asset recovery, transportation/logistics, or vendor management.
