Operations Manager, Business Analyst, Business Management
As a
Senior Director, Client Solutions you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across large-scale retail initiatives. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage high-impact projects, and serve as a key liaison between clients, field teams, and business operations.
- Lead strategic growth planning for $4BN Client, including managing $20M Retail Budget through new business development, capacity/resource planning, and profitability management.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition
to align staffing strategies with project needs and business goals. - Negotiate and execute incremental special project coverage
in retail environments, ensuring accurate billing, reporting, and post-project analysis. - Foster strong client relationships
by participating and representing retail needs to the client leadership team meetings; understanding project goals and aligning internal teams for flawless execution. - Communicate project requirements
clearly to retail teams and refine frameworks to ensure consistency and clarity. - Oversee project setup
in internal systems (e.g., Back Office, NARS) and ensure timely, accurate billing. - Analyze project data
in partnership with Retail Analysts and deliver actionable insights to clients. - Proactively communicate
with client managing message for maximum effectiveness - Develop internal project recaps
to build a knowledge base and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement. - Lead and mentor a team one
Client Solutions Managers direct report and two (Walmart BI Analyst and SC Analyst) dotted line support staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth. - Support system design (360, TRAX, Other) initiatives
to enhance proprietary tools and improve operational efficiency. - Drive continuous improvement
by identifying trends, optimizing processes, and presenting strategic recommendations. - Travel as needed
to support client meetings, project execution, and team development.
Education & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a strong background in large-scale operations and client-facing roles.
- 1–3 years of experience managing and developing teams.
- Prior experience in sales or client services with a food broker, agency, or major consumer brand.
- Solid understanding of retail service organizations and in-store execution strategies.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze sales and marketing data to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales support software platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in project management, including billing, reporting, and post-project analysis.
