Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Production Operator in the White, GA area.

Swing Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm OR 6:00pm – 6:30am

Pay rate: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Equipment Operation

  • Operate automated production equipment according to established SOPs.
  • Monitor equipment alarms and elevate issues to the Shift Leader as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and end‑of‑shift shutdown procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspection of wafers and production output for quality standards.
  • Handle manual input and output of materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate MES and Production Order (PO) data entry.

Material & Product Management

  • Monitor wafer and raw material levels throughout the shift.
  • Track consumables, material usage, and inventory removals.
  • Follow procedures for handling rework, breakage, and production by‑products.
  • Maintain accurate Work‑in‑Process (WIP) flow and documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of waste or contamination.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Follow instructions from Shift Leaders and production management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely shift‑to‑shift handoffs.
  • Support training of new operators as needed.
  • Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with Equipment Technicians, Engineering, and other teams.
  • Support emergency response procedures when required (utility, safety, or environmental events).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

Safety & Compliance

  • Wear all required PPE including cleanroom suit, gloves, safety glasses, and mask.
  • Follow all environmental, health, safety, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment at all times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing full PPE.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and consistency in work performance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in high‑volume manufacturing or industrial production environments.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor, solar, or display manufacturing processes.
  • Prior cleanroom or ISO‑regulated environment experience.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety, quality, and environmental standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT &

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Manufacturing cleanroom environment with exposure to noise, automated equipment, and controlled conditions.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to safely perform physically active work for up to 12 hours.
  • Required use of PPE including cleanroom suit, gloves, safety glasses, and mask.
  • Must be able to maintain strict cleanliness and contamination control standards.
