Machine Operator PR; 2nd Shift - Tyson of Rogers

Monday - Friday, possible Saturdays.

Hour: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM approx.

Pay: $17.40 hour

• Responsible for operating the bagger machine, including setting up the program, calibrating, and adjusting machine parameters to produce desired bag size and bag weights.
• Perform regular checks on filled/sealed bags of product to ensure proper machine performance and adjust accordingly to meet product specifications.
• Ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
• Responsible for mixing marination, ensuring proper ingredients and quantities for marination formulas, and maintaining proper temperature in accordance with specifications.
• Fill out Quality Assurance verifications and use handheld scanning devices to manage inventory of ingredients utilized.
• Be able to climb stairs while carrying ingredients to dump into the marination tank. Basic math (adding and subtracting) skills are required to keep track of the pounds needed and dumped into the marination tank.
• Notify the supervisor if machinery requires maintenance, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Experience:
  
  6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.

  If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180‑day waiting period before you can reapply.
• Number of Times Worked at Tyson:
  You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than two times.
• Failed Drug Screen:
  If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
