Operator V - Molding; 3rd Shift

About the Role

As a key member of the Molding department, you will operate and support assembly equipment to ensure efficient, high‑quality production. You will set up machines, verify materials, and maintain optimal process performance following established procedures and standards.

• Operate assembly equipment in the Molding department.
• Set‑up machine parameters per operating procedures.
• Perform line clearance, quality checks, and required mechanical adjustments.
• Ensure raw materials, printing and packaging materials are ready for production.
• Challenge vision system, USON Tester, Welders, and silicon system per operating procedures.
• Use blueprints, specifications, Bill of Materials, and SOPs to ensure product/process acceptability.
• Report abnormalities and corrective action to supervision.
• Stack‑off master cartons and move finished goods with forklift.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make required adjustments/minor repairs.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices.
• Perform light TQM duties and routine equipment preventive maintenance.
• Participate in required training, new personnel training, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain housekeeping and lead 6S responsibilities when assigned.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision/management.

• High school diploma required; additional technical experience or education is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations is a plus.
• Mechanical proficiency required.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls is a plus.
• Capability to interpret computer control documents and specifications.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use software applications.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
• Document records legibly.
• Trained forklift driver preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Low absenteeism.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required and meet visual acuity and hearing requirements.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, stand for long periods, and lift, push, or pull up to 50pounds repeatedly.

Salary pay rate: $19.38 per hour, plus shift differential for off shifts.
