Account Supervisor, Shopper Marketing

• Build client relationships with marketing and sales functions, including visits to client headquarters and participation in client planning meetings
• Serve as primary client contact at the appropriate management level
• Train, supervise, and oversee Sr. Account Executives and Account Executives
• Expand client relationships to gain incremental revenue
• Share best practices to maximize business potential
• Understand client objectives, strategies, and tactics and advocate for the client with the agency team
• Ensure client contract obligations are met or exceeded
• Lead or support strategic planning
• Participate in brainstorm meetings and utilize agency planning documents
• Drive program solutions meeting clients’ sales/marketing goals and brand standards
• Determine research needed to support or validate marketing plans
• Investigate and recommend effective execution strategies and tactics
• Manage the creative process and lead client presentations of creative concepts
• Ensure creative solutions fulfill guidelines, communication priorities, and client objectives
• Ensure the team follows agency processes and procedures
• Oversee implementation and management of marketing tactics and retail initiatives
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and communication among agency, retail field, and client teams
• Partner with Experiential marketing partners on integrated retail event programming
• Support Director/VP in meeting contracted obligations and managing account profitability
• Ensure estimates and invoices are appropriately charged
• Oversee clients’ accounts receivable
• Work outside normal hours when needed
• Complete special projects as directed by leadership
• Communicate upward to keep management informed
• Oversee Senior Account Executive responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor of Arts Degree
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field
• Minimum 4 to 8 years agency experience in shopper marketing / retail or consumer packaged goods preferred
• Experience working on the retailer(s) Walmart and/or Sam’s Club
• Proven leadership, organization, and communications skills
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving ability
• Ability to effectively develop and communicate ideas, both oral and written
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and Power Point
• Salesforce experience is a plus
