Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Join our dynamic Cardiac/Neuro team, a 24bed unit specializing in caring for patients with stroke, seizures, altered mental status, and cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. This unit offers a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for growth.

Ideal for nurses interested in progressing into Emergency Care, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Critical Care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license.

• Required: BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• May be required based on unit: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NRP, PEARS, CEFM, or other unitspecific certifications.
