Job Type: Full Time - Nights
Schedule:
3 x 12 - 7pm - 7am
Must have the ability to work weekdays as well as weekends - Not just Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
About the roleAs a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) you will support patients in a range of activities and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver essential care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver basic patient care under supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort and daily living activities.
- Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
- Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
- Assist with positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
- Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
- Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling patient belongings.
- Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages promptly and appropriately.
- Maintain patient‑room and common‑area stock and cleanliness.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Execute basic patient care activities delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
- Minimum six months experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting (preferred).
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- CPR/BCLS certification required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
