Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg; PRN

Overview

Maintain professional accountability for patient care of assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Consideration for comparable education, experience, and successful licensure.
• Licensure:
  Obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state. Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

• Certification(s):
  One or more of the following may be required based on the unit: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, BLS, LPN‑IV (for LPNs in Missouri). Other unit‑specific certifications may be required.

• Ability to push, pull, or lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
