Overview

Find your calling at Mercy! The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. The RN evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. This position upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and performs all duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

The Mercy Float Pool offers opportunities to meet new people, expand your skills and knowledge through new challenging assignments, and pass on skills and knowledge to others. The RN will provide competent care to patients in the following settings:
Med Surg, Orthopedics, Cardiac, Cardiac-Neuro, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Critical Care areas. The RN will float to each department as needed.

• Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or a compact state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Preferred: 2+ years of critical care experience
