The Medical IV Technician is a part-time, on-site role based in Rogers, AR. This role is responsible for safely preparing and administering IV drips and nutrient injections in accordance with clinical protocols and organizational guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing client intake forms, confirming eligibility for IV therapies, explaining procedures, obtaining informed consent, and monitoring clients during and after treatments to ensure comfort and safety.
The technician will perform venipuncture, maintain sterile technique, accurately document services, and manage supplies and equipment in the IV area. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with studio staff to support a positive client experience, educating clients on wellness services, and adhering to all health, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Current, active licensure or certification as an RN, LPN/LVN, paramedic, or similar clinically qualified professional, with demonstrated competency in IV therapy and venipuncture.
- Strong knowledge of IV infusion procedures, contraindications, and basic pharmacology related to vitamins, minerals, and nutrient therapies.
- Proficiency in medical documentation, charting, and maintaining accurate client records in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Ability to maintain sterile technique, follow infection-control protocols, and uphold OSHA and HIPAA standards in a wellness or clinical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for educating clients about treatments, obtaining informed consent, and providing a calm, supportive experience.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple clients and appointments efficiently.
- Comfort working in a wellness-focused, customer-facing retail studio, with a commitment to holistic health and client-centered care.
- CPR/BLS certification and prior experience in IV therapy, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or wellness centers are highly beneficial.
