DescriptionAll Pets Animal Hospital Rogers is hiring a reliable and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our veterinary team in Rogers, Arkansas. This is a hands-on animal care position supporting the comfort, safety, and cleanliness of pets staying with us for boarding, hospitalization, medical treatment, or recovery.

- Feed and provide fresh water for boarding and hospitalized dogs and cats
- Walk dogs and provide appropriate outdoor breaks and exercise
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, and common areas
- Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and report concerns to the veterinary team
- Provide compassionate care and safe handling of dogs and cats
- Launder bedding, towels, and hospital linens
- Maintain clean, organized, and well‑stocked patient care areas
- Assist Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians with basic animal handling and hospital tasks
- Follow hospital protocols for patient care, sanitation, and safety
- Previous animal care or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience in a veterinary hospital, kennel, boarding facility, shelter, rescue, daycare, or similar setting is helpful
- Genuine interest in animal care and veterinary medicine
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and observation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physically active tasks throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital environment
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on hospital needs
You’ll work alongside Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants while gaining valuable experience in:
- Animal handling and patient care
- Kennel and hospital sanitation
- Patient observation and monitoring
- Veterinary hospital operations
