Tailor

Upkept is the first centralized apparel repair infrastructure company in the United States. We operate a professional, mail-in repair fulfillment model out of Rogers, Arkansas — working with individual customers and national apparel brands to extend the life of garments at scale.

We're hiring an experienced tailor to join our in‑studio repair team on a part‑time contract basis. This is a production role for someone who takes genuine pride in their craft and wants to do high‑quality work in a professional, well‑organized environment.

• Execute a high volume of garment repairs across categories — denim, knitwear, wovens, outerwear, and more
• Perform alterations, structural repairs, invisible mending, zipper replacement, seam reconstruction, and patching
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all repair types
• Work within a production workflow — receiving, completing, and handing off repairs efficiently
• Collaborate with our Repair Director to refine and document repair processes

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional tailoring or garment repair experience
• Proficiency across garment categories and fabric types
• Comfort with both hand‑sewing and industrial or commercial sewing machines
• High attention to detail and a commitment to finished‑quality output
• Reliability and strong professional habits — this is a production environment
• Ability to work independently and manage repair volume without close supervision

• Experience in a production or fulfillment environment (not just custom/bridal)
• Familiarity with denim construction and repair
• Interest in the future of apparel and repair infrastructure

• 12–20 hours per week, scheduled in‑studio
• Located in Rogers, Arkansas
