Support Lead Part Time

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to place items efficiently on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing urgent issues.
• Manages entire process of opening or closing, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by actively seeking ways to boost sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and world recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining stock room.

• High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Frequently operate cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to height of 5‑10 ft.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in stock room and on sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on telephone and face‑to‑face in store, as well as with managers and coworkers; must exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Frequently move across sales floor assisting customers, and retrieving and putting away merchandise.
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOP.
• Ability to work flexible schedule (day, evening, weekends, may include overnight shifts and travel). Must be able to remain in stationary upright position 80% of time.

Position Type:
Hourly Position. Starting at $11.50 per hour.
