Lead a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while delivering custom framing solutions.
Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in enforcing Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies.
- Develop and coach the team on effective selling behaviors.
- Plan and execute the workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high‑quality custom framing solutions on time.
- Achieve your KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their individual KPIs.
- Review sales and production workload; build plans and allocate sales floor time for networking.
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training new team members.
- Participate in performance management and talent development activities.
- Partner with MODs on daily expectations for framing and other framers.
- Interact positively and respectfully with colleagues and customers, promoting the organization’s vision and values.
- Assist in truck unload and stocking processes to meet standards and budget.
- Follow SOPs and maintain a safe environment.
- Help customers locate products and provide suitable framing solutions.
- Assist with Omni‑channel processes and any other duties as assigned.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous custom framing experience preferred.
- Retail management experience and sales team leadership preferred.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
- Lift heavy boxes and frames; access high shelves with a ladder or similar equipment.
Public retail store setting with climate‑controlled public areas; stock rooms may not be climate controlled. Some outdoor work may involve retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
