Position: New Store Opening - Assistant Manager

Job Summary

As an Assistant Manager, you are part of the leadership team and help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement. You provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance, and collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success while ensuring smooth operational support as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to directly impact business results with a meaningful connection to every aspect of the brand while maximizing profitability.
  • Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
  • Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
  • Assist Store Director & Associate Store Manager with recruiting, training, and development efforts when needed.
  • Partner with Store Director and Associate Store Manager to cultivate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
  • Ensure the team is always on track to exceed goals and provide best‑in‑class customer service.
  • Lead fit sessions that boost associate product knowledge to elevate authentic customer connections.
  • Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
  • Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor when necessary.
Who You Are
  • Have 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
  • Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
  • Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
  • Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
  • Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, demonstrating strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Can bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Range: $17.75 – $22.30

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
