Job Overview
Category Manager – Walmart, Personal Health (Rogers, AR) – Provide category management and sales analytics expertise across the Philips Personal Health portfolio to drive sales for Philips and Walmart.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales team colleagues and Walmart to monitor omnichannel consumer and sales trends for key categories:
Oral Health Care, Grooming & Beauty and Mother & Child Care. - Use Walmart Scintilla tool to drive sales results, partnering with the Walmart Scintilla account team, applying insights and communicating results to Walmart and Philips.
- Guide assortment, pricing, promotion, shelf layout and construct planograms as required.
- Leverage AI resources and processes to maximize efficiency.
- Serve as analytic thought leader, train colleagues to use data and tools, and present to Philips sales team and Walmart buyers.
- 5+ years of experience working with retailers, CPG manufacturers or consultants in category management, merchandising and data management/insights.
- Extensive familiarity with Walmart preferred; strong familiarity with Walmart Scintilla, syndicated data resources (Nielsen, Circana, etc.) and data hierarchies.
- Ability to understand retailer-specific sales tools and shopper/panel data and generate insights.
- Experience with planogram software (e.g., Blue Yonder Space Planning Plus) desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Comfortable navigating diverse categories and data sources to solve problems.
Pay range is $98,000 – $156,000 (AR). Additional compensation may include annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives. Benefits include generous PTO, 401(k) match up to 7%, HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
