Here at Verlo Mattress, we are looking for a well-spoken, upbeat, and responsible person to join our growing Sleep Advocate team. Our advocates help local community members by informing them of the best way to get a great night’s sleep. We do this through the intimate knowledge of sleep and sleep materials. Don’t know much about sleep? No worries! All we require is a willingness to learn, a can‑do attitude, and the ability to enhance our culture further.

• Serves customers by helping them understand and select products.
• Drives sales through the engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge.
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Assists with product assembly.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Presents, promotes, and sells products/services using a proven, easy-to-navigate sales system.
• Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis for customers to meet their needs
• Establishes, develops, and maintains positive customer relationships
• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments

• No sales experience needed
• Basic computer skills
• Highly motivated and target-driven
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to truly listen to customers and help them according to their wants and needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $14-$20/hour

• Paid training

• Day shift
• No nights
• Weekend availability

• Commission pay
