Sales Manager – Toy Collector & Specialty Channels

Full‑time position at YuMe Toys, part of the Maxx Group, a global toy brand recognized for its high‑quality plush, surprise capsules, and collectible lines partnering with top entertainment franchises such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Hello Kitty, Disney, Warner Bros, and others. YuMe creates must‑have moments for fans and collectors through imagination, fun, and entertainment.

The Sales Manager will own the growth for our Collector Division across Amusement, Independent Retail, Grocery, and Drugstore channels, turning high‑end licensed products into retail experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project & Protect: develop annual sales quotas and project volume/profit for evergreen favorites and new product launches.
  • Pricing Architecture: establish and adjust selling prices based on market competition and supply/demand dynamics in the collector space.
  • Pipeline Management: lead rigorous pipeline meetings and provide senior leadership with high‑level insights into sales metrics and team performance.
  • Retail Execution: spearhead the development of sales support materials and optimized customer strategies for specialized channels.
  • Product Lifecycle

    Collaboration:

    work directly with Operations and Marketing to improve product distribution and inform future product development.
  • Global Alignment: coordinate with sales teams in North America to ensure a unified brand statement.
  • Teamwork: collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams and outside sales reps to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
  • Trade Show: represent YuMe at major industry events such as Toy Fair and Licensing Expo, ensuring interactions drive measurable sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in retail‑related sales within the toy or consumer products industry, with a track record of selling to national chains.
  • Deep understanding of the collector market is a significant plus.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) with strong analytical skills and EDI experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills – able to command a room and spreadsheets with equal ease.
