The Public Safety Officer provides fire, safety, and security support to protect Mercy coworkers, patients, and visitors. This role maintains a visible presence across Mercy properties, enforces safety and security policies, responds to alarms and emergency situations, and assists clinical staff and guests as needed. All duties are performed in alignment with Mercy’s Mission, Values, and Service Standards.

Public Safety Officer - Full Time
- Location:
Mercy - Rogers
- Education:
High School Diploma - 18 years of age or older
- Licensure:
Valid State drivers license - Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
- Experience:
Passing score on Functional Job Screening - Certification/Registration:
Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) - Other Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to read and write the English language

Valid local, state or federal Public Security licensure as required. - Experience:
Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
