Job Overview

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The incumbent identifies all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in the assigned area and completes work orders in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding pre‑established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.

$22.90 per hour + $2.00 shift differential. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience level.

C‑Shift: 4:00 pm – 4:00 am;
Sat‑Weds one week;
Mon‑Weds one week;
Wed – Half days 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Identify all parts, supplies and services required to maintain equipment in the assigned area and complete work orders in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding pre‑established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals. Perform lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. Work in cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy environments. Use basic hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi‑meter, and other tools.

• At least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience.
