Job Summary

Porter / Yard Worker

• Station equipment and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rentals to document any lost or damaged equipment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

• Communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety focus.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

This role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as needed.

Porter Hostler, Yard Hand, Yard Jockey, Yard Spotter, Entry Level Mechanic, Mechanic Trainee, Construction Laborer, Washbay Attendant, Equipment Washer, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Worker.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - $22.55 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
