The Shipping Team Specialist supports advanced shipping operations by coordinating shipping schedules, verifying freight accuracy, and assisting with issue resolution. This role requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support training of new team members.

Essential Functions- Package & ship unit and LTL orders with accuracy.
- Assist with shipping quotes and scheduling coordination.
- Verify freight bill accuracy.
- Help resolve freight claims and discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Support training of new shipping team members.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
- Forklift and heavy machinery operator.
- Analytical Thinking: Reviews data and details to ensure accuracy in shipping and freight documentation.
- Initiative & Ownership: Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and follows through to completion.
- Collaboration: Works across teams to resolve problems and improve processes.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Identifies ways to make tasks faster, easier, and more efficient.
- Technical Proficiency: Operates warehouse equipment and systems safely and effectively.
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must frequently use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. The employee must walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift, push, pull, and grip. Must pass a physical fitness for duty test that assesses the ability to lift varying weights essential to job function. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 to 2:30 or 7:00 to 3:30. Occasionally, overtime is required, and the employee must be able to work earlier than scheduled, later than scheduled, and on Saturdays.
PreferredEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year or more in similar field

Pay Range$16.00 - $18.25
** position includes $2 premium after 60-day probation period**
