Yard Driver; 2nd Shift - Tyson of Rogers

Monday - Friday, Saturdays

Hours:

2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (approx.) Pay: $18.60 hourly. The position is located outside the plant and is part of the receiving department. Relocation Assistance Eligible:

• Complete initial safety check/inspection of the yard truck and document it on the inspection form.
• Maintain constant communication with the supervisor and receiving team to identify trucks that need backed in and out of the receiving dock during the shift.
• Monitor the radio continuously and respond immediately to any requests from the supervisor or shipping & receiving team members.
• Assist receiving team members in unloading trailers as needed.
• Communicate timely with the supervisor about any issues during the shift.
• Perform any other duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least 6 months of driver work experience listed on the application.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No DWI/DUI conviction within the past 12 months.
• Fewer than four points according to the Tyson Yard Driver Evaluation System.
• Willing to submit to the Non-DOT disclosure and release form to obtain MVR.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions, as the job setting is outside.
• Able to lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Background checks are required for certain roles  offered a position that requires a background check, additional documentation will be provided after the offer.
