Lead Driver

Job Summary

Lead Driver of Med Trans, Medline’s private fleet, delivering life‑saving medical products to commercial and residential customers. Operate a straight truck on local routes across the United States.

• Motivate and support local transportation team; act as a liaison with management.
• Load and secure product in the truck from the Medline Facility.
• Safely operate a Class A or Class B vehicle between the facility and multiple customer destinations, following Medline’s safety regulations.
• Unload and deliver product, ensuring timely deliveries and providing in‑person support to customers.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust delivery routes or schedules as needed.
• Maintain accurate travel and cargo logs per Federal and State regulations.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.

• Minimum 2 years tractor‑trailer driving experience as a Class A CDL holder.
• Valid license to operate the assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State commercial vehicle operation requirements.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary range: $28.75 – $41.75 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications. The actual salary will vary accordingly.
