Not every important dealership job happens under the hood. Our Automotive Service Porter helps keep the entire Service Department moving while creating a welcoming, professional experience for our customers.

Miller Chevrolet is looking for a dependable, friendly person who enjoys staying active, driving, helping people, and handling a variety of responsibilities. No automotive experience is required—we provide paid training.

• $18.00 per hour
• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• No evenings or weekends
• Consistent weekly schedule

• Greet and assist customers arriving in the service drive
• Drive the courtesy shuttle to transport customers safely
• Park, organize, and retrieve customer vehicles
• Move vehicles throughout the dealership as needed
• Keep the service drive clean, organized, and presentable
• Fuel customer and dealership vehicles
• Pick up parts and supplies
• Perform road tests for technicians as directed
• Assist service advisors and other team members when needed
• Help with snow removal and seasonal upkeep
• Complete other tasks that support the Service Department

• Friendly, positive, and helpful attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
• Comfortable speaking with and assisting customers
• Able to work independently while contributing to a team
• Capable of managing several responsibilities in a busy environment
• Professional and customer-ready appearance
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• No previous automotive experience required

This is an active, hands-on position that involves considerable walking, standing, driving, and frequent entry into and exit from vehicles. Some responsibilities are performed outdoors in changing Minnesota weather, including seasonal snow removal.
