Mechanical / Sheet Metal Fabrication Drafter
Pride Staff is working with a local manufacturing facility in search of an experienced Mechanical / Sheet Metal Fabrication Drafter to develop accurate fabrication drawings and supporting documentation for shop use in fabrication. This role is responsible for interpreting project specifications, blueprints, customer drawings and architectural drawings to produce high-quality AutoCAD/Inventor deliverables that accurately reflect project requirements. The Mechanical / Sheet Metal Fabrication Drafter is a full-time, temporary to hire position in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD / Inventor to produce accurate fabrication drawings for internal or customer review
- Analyze project documents and develop detailed drawings required to accurately convey scope of work and architectural intent
- Partner closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Production to ensure seamless communication, coordination and project handoffs.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, correspondence, drawings, and project updates within project workflow systems to support efficient project execution and cross-functional communication
- Monitor project performance and escalate technical issues or delays to the Director of Drafting

Job Requirements &
Working Conditions:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2020 or newer required
- Proficiency in Inventor 2024 or newer required
- Experience in architectural metal panels, cladding, commercial construction, or related building envelope products preferred
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365
- One or more years of experience using Inventor
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships, foster collaborative internal team partnerships, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to comprehend technical concepts
- Flexibility is required in this client-facing and deadline-driven role
- Overtime required during peak business times
Pride Staff Hiring Requirements:
- Must be 18+ Years Old

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
