- Set up press brakes using drawings and bend simulations
- Inspect parts with precision tools
- Calculate sheet metal bend allowances for various materials
- Maintain and calibrate press brake machinery
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Conduct quality spot inspections
- Program and operate all press brake features
- Perform forming operations with standard/custom punches
- Troubleshoot and resolve press brake issues
- At least 5 years of press brake experience, ideally in architectural metals fabrication
- Proficient in press brake programming
- Able to set up the press brake from the ground up – not just operate it
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
