• Set up and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, ensuring proper installation of tooling, fixtures, and work pieces for each job.
• Program CNC machines using G-code, CAM programming software, and manual input to produce complex parts with tight tolerances.
• Utilize live tooling and 4′ bar feeders to maximize machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing specifications to produce precise components.
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify part accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes and ensure adherence to safety standards.
