CNC Programmer
This role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce short-run parts and components used in industrial and commercial paint sprayers. You will create programs in Mastercam from blueprints, collaborate closely with engineering, and perform multiple set-ups and machine operations while maintaining high quality standards through self-inspection.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate short-run parts on CNC lathes and CNC mills.
- Program new parts and components in Mastercam based on engineering requirements and blueprints.
- Work closely with engineering to create parts and programs directly from blueprints, including those with GD&T specifications.
- Perform approximately 3–4 CNC set-ups per week on machining centers and related equipment.
- Run 1–3 machines at a time, including CNC lathes and CNC mills, while maintaining efficient workflow and part quality.
- Inspect your own parts using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other general quality tools to ensure they meet specifications.
- Apply knowledge of machine offsets, tool changes, and machine set-up to optimize machining operations.
- Use understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Support machining of various components that feed into downstream assembly operations.
- Perform general quality checks and document results as required to support consistent, repeatable production.
- 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology, Machining, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of Mastercam programming experience for CNC machining applications.
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC mills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T symbols and requirements.
- Ability to perform general quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other standard inspection tools.
- Working knowledge of CNC machining centers, machine set-up, machine offsets, tool changes, and CNC operation.
- Ability to run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality parts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with full set-up of CNC machines such as Mazatrol, Citizen Swiss, and Haas mills.
- Programming experience with G and M code for CNC machines.
- Broader CNC machining experience across different platforms and machining centers.
- Familiarity with industrial and commercial equipment components, particularly those used in paint sprayer systems.

WorkEnvironment
You will work in an extremely well-maintained, large, and open machine shop environment designed for efficient CNC operations. The facility features a modern machining setup with CNC lathes, CNC mills, and machining centers, operating in a typical machine shop setting with active equipment and production activity. The role involves working around running machinery and standard shop conditions, with appropriate shop attire and safety gear expected in line with a professional machining environment.
JobType & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
