Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday
- Friday (Occasional overtime on Saturdays)
To transfer material manually by hand or using a manual pallet jacket or a lifting device attached to a hoist as called out within the standard work.
Essential Functions- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering a lifting device attached to the hoist.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids or a lifting device by hand as needed.
- Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in the warehouse to trays or racks or kit carts.
- Follows the set route through the department to load kit carts.
- Loads and unloads parts manually from the paint line.
- Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.
- Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Uses an electronic scanner to transact material as needed.
- Keeps aisles clean and orderly.
- Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by the supervisor.
- Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
- Performs other non-essential duties as assigned by management.
Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent.
- Job specific skills, techniques, and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training.
- General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations or assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations or assignments.
The starting hourly wage range for this position is $21 plus per hour, depending on experience and other factors.

Working ConditionsWork is performed in a shop environment. Conditions include proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to high noise levels requiring hearing protection, exposure to vibration, slippery and sloping surfaces, uneven terrain, and exposure to chemicals such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gases.
Required to wear personal protective equipment.
Physical DemandsThe overall level of work is defined as medium duty. Employees are expected to exert 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 11 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
TemperatureTemperature (as a part of regular duties):
Heat index greater than 125 degrees, 105 to 125 degrees, 90 to 105 degrees, 80 to 90 degrees. Wind chill greater than negative 50 degrees, 0 to negative 50 degrees, 0 to 32 degrees. Indoor/Outdoor: less than 10% indoors, 32% to 10% indoors, 65% to 33% indoors, 100% to 66% indoors. Times outdoors are the same. Clothing: coveralls, standard work clothes, chemical protective suits.
