- Program new CNC parts and components using Mastercam.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills for short-run production.
- Create machining programs directly from blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes.
- Perform approximately 3-4 machine setups per week.
- Operate and monitor 1-3 machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Adjust machine offsets, perform tool changes, and optimize machining processes.
- Inspect finished parts using: micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and dimensional tolerances.
- Perform self-inspections and document quality results.
- Support production of components utilized in downstream assembly operations.
- Associate's Degree or Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Machining, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Mastercam programming experience.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC mills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
- Strong knowledge of: CNC machine setup, tool changes, offsets, CNC operations.
- Ability to manage multiple machines while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision manufacturing.
- Experience performing complete machine setups on equipment such as Haas Mills, Citizen Swiss Machines, Mazatrol Machines.
- G-Code and M-Code programming experience.
- Experience across various CNC machining centers and machine platforms.
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing components and mechanical assemblies.
- Experience working in low-volume or short-run production environments.
This position is based in a large, modern, and exceptionally well-maintained machine shop. You'll work with CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers in a professional manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
