Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

Maintenance Mechanic – Rogers, MN (Full-time). Advanced Response Systems (ARS) is a Direct Mailing and Fulfillment company located in Rogers, MN. This position is responsible for addressing any issues concerning the building and machines utilized in the Lettershop and Printing Presses, ensuring that proper attention, parts, and coordination of any external organizations is performed to correct these issues.

• Keeping Equipment running and preventive maintenance performed
• Preparing schedules for preventive maintenance on all production equipment, as well as essential building requirements (HVAC, electrical, air compressors, etc.)
• Securing and coordinating with internal staff and/or external organizations for housekeeping items, HVAC, structural and cosmetic repairs, electricity, building security, equipment, and safety features
• Tracking and logging all repairs and services performed
• Following lockout/tagout procedures
• Ensuring all machine guarding is in compliance with OSHA standards
• Troubleshooting when equipment is down and replacing all parts; diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all production equipment and support equipment
• Communicating with the general manager on specific issues/needs for equipment and/or building issues
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Working overtime where overtime is needed
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years of print/letter shop maintenance experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills; team player
• Ability to multitask
• Strong knowledge of print/letter shop equipment, installation, and repair
