Maintenance Technician
Under limited supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality. You will be working on conveyors and distribution equipment, as well as forklift repair. Professional communication is essential as the customer shares this site.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with out-of-service equipment, serving as an escalation point for lower-level technicians and escalating to leadership or more technicians when necessary.
- Record all maintenance issues in the maintenance log for each line.
- Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems, maintaining accurate records of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems tested routinely.
- Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
- Assist maintenance mechanics in tasks requiring two people or when operational needs demand.
- Perform facility/building project work as assigned, including light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry duties, plumbing repairs, and maintaining operation logs.
- Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production.
- Analyze and record causes of production delays on daily production reports and initiate procedures to solve equipment malfunctions.
- Examine defects and analyze spoilage causes, taking corrective action where possible and verifying the effectiveness of the corrective action.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, particularly Allen Bradley or Siemens.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with conveyors and distribution equipment, including basic forklift maintenance.
- Candidates with experience in forklift or diesel mechanics with conveyor and production experience are encouraged to apply.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Rogers, MN.
