Provides nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician

Exercises sound judgment to implement the patient's plan of care
Supports the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance
Creates and maintains collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers

• Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• LVNIVBWP-Vocational Nurse Intravenous Therapy Blood Withdrawal Provider
• 2 years recent relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills
• Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions
• Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• General knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Demonstrates proficiency in nursing care under supervision, with a strong foundation in basic nursing skills, human anatomy, and medical terminology. Capable of maintaining collaborative relationships and effectively managing patient care plans.
