Aya Rooftop Restaurant - Server Assistant: Part-Time

Position Summary

The AYA Rooftop Restaurant Server Assistant supports dining room by bussing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting servers to ensure efficient service and high-quality guest experience. The role is also responsible for delivering food from the kitchen in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring orders are complete and delivered to the correct seat. The position requires close collaboration with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a professional, polished demeanor.

• Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings; confidently explain the menu and make recommendations using prescribed verbiage.
• Follow the department's steps of service consistently to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table in a timely, professional manner, ensuring proper presentation, garnishes, temperature, and quality.
• Provide bread and water service according to service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate guest needs, and address concerns or requests promptly, escalating issues to servers or management when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, expo, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
• Assist with setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the dining room, service stations, and expo areas, including condiments, utensils, and napkins.
• Clear tables and service areas of dirty dishes and glassware using prescribed methods.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation in all work areas, including dining room, kitchen, back bar, and service stations.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
