Office Support Assistant IV employees provide advanced administrative and office support services that contribute to the efficient operation of university departments. Job Description
Responsibilities may include:
* Serving as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
* Providing professional customer service in person, by phone, and through email correspondence.
* Maintaining records, files, databases, and confidential information.
* Scheduling appointments, meetings, events, and reserving facilities.
* Preparing correspondence, reports, forms, and other administrative documents.
* Assisting with purchasing, invoice processing, travel arrangements, and other business operations.
* Monitoring and updating departmental websites, calendars, and communication materials as needed.
* Supporting departmental projects, programs, and events.
* Interpreting and applying university policies and procedures.
* Performing a variety of administrative and office support duties requiring independent judgment and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidates may demonstrate:
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office technologies.
* Experience providing customer service in a professional environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50-$20.32 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
