Overview
Missouri S&T is accepting applications for an ongoing pool of qualified candidates interested in Office Support Assistant IV opportunities across the university. This posting does not correspond to an immediate opening. Candidates may be contacted as positions become available.
Responsibilities- Serving as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Providing professional customer service in person, by phone, and through email correspondence.
- Maintaining records, files, databases, and confidential information.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, events, and reserving facilities.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, forms, and other administrative documents.
- Assisting with purchasing, invoice processing, travel arrangements, and other business operations.
- Monitoring and updating departmental websites, calendars, and communication materials as needed.
- Supporting departmental projects, programs, and events.
- Interpreting and applying university policies and procedures.
- Performing a variety of administrative and office support duties requiring independent judgment and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office technologies.
- Experience providing customer service in a professional environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.50-$20.32 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
