Position: Receptionist The Dermatolgy Center

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized individual to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this role, you will help create a welcoming experience while supporting daily front-desk operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages when needed
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Collect and update patient information with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Check patients in and out, verify required forms, and process necessary paperwork
  • Assist with coordinating front-desk workflow to support smooth office operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members
  • Provide support with insurance verification and other patient service tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office software
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Experience in a medical or specialty practice is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
