The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) oversees academic programs, research activity, and applied learning across its departments. The Dean's Office supports college level operations, administrative processes, and coordination across academic units.
Job Description
The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) is looking for a Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist to help manage and review the college's financial activities. The main job is to make sure departments are following financial rules and policies when spending money.
Job duties include:
* Reviewing and approving purchases, reimbursements, expense reports, and payment requests for CASE departments
* Managing and updating budgets for the Dean's Office
* Reviewing graduate assistant appointments to make sure funding is available
* Helping department staff manage grant budgets and fix budget problems
* Creating and managing MoCodes for CASE accounts
* Processing budget corrections when needed
* Answering financial questions from faculty and staff and providing training or guidance when needed
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87-$22.50 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
