With 300+ animals and 100+ activities, our unique take on the traditional sleep-away camp is a place where you can inspire kids, help them build self-confidence, and make lifelong friends. 2027 Dates

Provide transportation for campers and camp staff during the summer. Trips will include from camp to Rolla, fun outings for our staff, as well as transportation to St Louis Airport on weekends. Perfect for a school bus driver, retiree, or someone looking for some extra fun in the summer!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport campers to and from the airport.
  • Transport staff daily to and from town.
  • Complete supply runs and deliver lost and found to the post office.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training.
  • Follow all camp policies and procedures to ensure camper and staff health and safety.
  • Must be over 21 and completed at least 1 year of college education or equivalent experience.
  • Safely operate up to 15 passenger vans on streets and highways in all traffic conditions, have a clear driving record, and a class E license is preferred.
  • A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first.
  • Have a passion for science, animals and childhood development.
  • Able to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts and instructions in a constructive manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision.
  • Be willing to learn new concepts and skills.
  • Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others.
  • Willingness to adhere to camp’s code of conduct, rules and policies.

Salary negotiable upon hire. Additional credit in the camp store for snacks and supplies. Minimum of 5 days per week, with hours varying based on need. Weekend work is required. Additional hours are available to the right applicant.
