Job Description

This position oversees all curriculum development for the S&T campus, catalog development, class scheduling including room assignments, and mid-term and final grade processing. This position is responsible for the technology related to those duties. Position works with faculty and staff on a daily basis and have high level of decision making regarding those areas of duties. The position has the responsibility for maintaining the admissions module of People Soft in addition to advancing the module through bundle, patch and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Course scheduling and room assignments are mission critical duties that help facilitate academic departments in developing their semester course schedule

* Oversee the course and degree curriculum development, implementation, publication (academic catalog), and semester course scheduling

* Aid faculty and academic departments on developing new curriculum including degree programs, certificates, emphasis areas, minors and course development

* Development of new features, testing of new and existing features, bundle/patch fix testing of People Soft admissions module

* Work with the admissions operations team to ensure the fees from Slate to People Soft are maintained and tested

* Ensure that all necessary field data is correct and timely

* Enrollment verification surveys which are needed for attendance records for Title IV funding

* Grade roster management ensuring that all grade rosters are available, faculty are able to access the rosters for both mid-term and final grades

* Enforce university and system rules regarding grade submission

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 5 years of experience in a registrar's office working with the technology associate within the office

* Experience with ERP systems, class and room scheduling systems

* Knowledge of curriculum development

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $60,944-$70,855.44 annually.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
