Responsibilities
- Analyze and design projects for stormwater, stream bank stabilization, bridge and culvert design, and land development
- Coordinate design with owners, regulatory agencies, and draftsmen
- Coordinate construction with owners, contractors, and inspectors
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited degree program
- Professional Engineering registration in the State of Missouri or the ability to obtain one
- Proficiency with engineering hydrologic and hydraulic software (such as HEC1, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc)
- Proficiency with either CAD or mapping software (such as AutoCAD, Global Mapper, ESRI)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Master’s degree in Hydrology/Hydraulics engineering or a similar degree program from an ABET-accredited degree program
