Job Summary:
We are seeking a mid-level Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient therapy team. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, instruct families and nursing staff on follow-through programs, and document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves direct patient care across pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on follow-through care programs.
Document all patient care activities in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
Assist with patient scheduling and post daily charges to patient records.
Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress.
Perform other duties as assigned in line with professional standards and applicable laws.
Qualifications Must Haves:
Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Missouri .
CPR Certification.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in acute care or rehabilitation hospital settings.
Exposure to outpatient therapy services for diverse populations.
