Physical Therapist

Physical therapists evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop a treatment plan. The goal is to help the patient regain mobility and independence. After identifying areas of strength and weakness, a physical therapist works to improve a patient's independence with daily tasks. This may include activities such as getting up from a chair or climbing stairs. The physical therapist leads, guides, and directs the delivery of physical therapy services.

Services must comply with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures. This ensures the provision of appropriate care and services to residents.

Experience:

1 year of physical therapy experience required. Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred. License:
Valid, unrestricted license in physical therapy.

Certifications:

Knowledge of regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Must-Have:
Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
