Certified Medication Aide; CMA)

Role Overview: The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) supports residents in a Memory Care setting by administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring resident safety and comfort.

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision, verifying resident identity and documenting doses and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report any adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and communicate changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate care documentation, including intake and output records.
• Support residents during admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping, answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as needed.

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide program and active certification.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., assist with resident mobility, and follow safety procedures.

Work Environment & Additional Info: The role is performed indoors in a Memory Care environment, with occasional outdoor activity support.
