Position OverviewThe purpose of this position is to provide support to users and be the first point of contact for problem resolution. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
Responsibilities- Respond to technical support requests via help desk tickets, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Set up and configure new workstations, peripherals, and user accounts.
- Assist with system updates, software installations, and patching.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper asset tagging.
- Support network connectivity and printer functionality at the workstation level.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff or vendors.
- Document troubleshooting steps, fixes, and frequently asked questions.
- Follow IT security and data privacy protocols.
- Performs such other duties as may be required or assigned by supervisor.
- The ability to perform multiple tasks.
- The ability to identify problems and opportunities relating to Software and Application Issues, Hardware and System Infrastructure, Network and Connectivity Problems, Data Security and Backup, System Setup, Configuration, and Maintenance, User Training and Technical Guidance, and Microsoft 365 Power Apps, Power
BI, and Office Suite. - This functional position requires a self-starting, detailed-oriented person, able to interface with all employees and contractors.
- Must be able to prioritize assigned tasks.
- Required:
A High School diploma or G.E.D. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems - Regardless of education or work experience, the position incumbent must be willing to pursue additional training to upgrade their education and/or sharpen any skill deficiencies.
- Preferred:
CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified:
Fundamentals, and CompTIA Network+
- The knowledge and skill requirements of the position include but are not limited to:
- Mathematical and communication skills (written and oral).
- Continually increases knowledge through education both formal and informal.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power Platform, and basic networking principles.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Eight-to-ten-hour workdays
- Weekend and night work may be required
- Key position, therefore, it is essential attendance be 100% of the time scheduled
