Camp Cleaners / Maintenance
Work cooperatively with summer staff to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of camp buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned camp buildings, including but not limited to dining hall, meeting spaces, activity pavilions, and bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of camp grounds and outdoor spaces.
- Empty outdoor trash cans daily.
- Perform small maintenance requests such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and other needed tasks.
- Report any major maintenance issues to leadership promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Complete minor groundskeeping such as watering plants, weed eating, and removing debris.
- A desire to positively impact the life of a child and a willingness to put the needs of campers first.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts, and instructions in a constructive manner.
- Self‑motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new concepts and skills.
- Ability to work in a team and both give and receive direction from others.
- Willingness to adhere to the camp's code of conduct, rules, and policies.
- Individuals serving primarily in the maintenance/groundskeeping role must possess a valid driver's license.
Starting pay $4050 for 11 week summer. Additional $100 credit in campstore for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry included. Weekend work is required, this position requires availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract period. Two 1 hour breaks provided each day, and 1 scheduled day offeach week.
