Summary

Chemical Manufacturing Technicians and Specialists play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, adherence to quality standards, and timely production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities
  • Execute assembly and chemical production tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and report deviations or defects in the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment logs, quality reports, and inventory documentation.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to document and address nonconformities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
  • Report safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Operate process‑related chemical manufacturing equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves safely and responsibly, considering hazards and environmental impact.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
  • Monitor equipment and conditions including process levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
  • Assist in the preparation of intermediate or finished product synthesis, formulation, purification, bottling, labeling, and packaging.
  • Interpret test results on chemical materials and products and compare against specifications.
  • Observe chemical materials and process behavior.
  • Identify nonconformities and act based on control plans or material reviews.
  • Comply with cleanroom protocols and perform housekeeping tasks and clean‑up procedures.
Education & Credentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of related technician experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
