The City of Rolla, MO (population 20,423) is recruiting an Animal Shelter Manager to manage the newly constructed Rolla Animal Shelter. The Shelter Manager will coordinate resources to ensure proper care of animals housed within the Shelter, as well as facilitate community engagement activities for the adoption of animals and promotion of spay and neuter programs.
Responsibilities- Coordinate animal care and facility operations.
- Facilitate community engagement activities to promote animal adoption.
- Work with local not-for-profit organizations focused on animal welfare and fundraising.
- Combination of education and experience in animal shelter facilities or related organizations.
- Post‑high school education desired.
- Three years progressively responsible related experience.
Salary range of $42,800 - $59,246 plus excellent benefits. Hiring salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.
